Greatest Week Ever started in 2004 when  a group of our friends went on a cruise to Alaska.  During a lively conversation about all the fun they were going to have on their cruise it was sarcastically said that while they were gone the rest of us were going to have the Greatest Week Ever.  Through much preparation and planning, we were able to put together a fun week without the help of a cruise ship (and for slightly less money).

From those beginnings a tradition was born.  In 2005 a couple of our friends went to Germany for a vacation.  We responded by having the second Greatest Week Ever and supersized almost everything about it.  We took 2006 and most of 2007 off so that everyone could get married and with that accomplished we are here in 2007 for a new Christmas Edition of Greatest Week Ever.
